Mobile Physiotherapy for Your Horse, At Your Yard
Whole-body assessments, rehabilitation, and performance support for horses across Cornwall. I come to your yard so your horse can be treated in their own environment.
I offer mobile physiotherapy for horses across Cornwall. Every visit includes a full whole-body assessment — not just a quick look at where it hurts. Whether your horse is recovering from injury, competing regularly, or just not moving quite right, I'll come to you and work with them in their own environment.
A lot of people think of a physio as "the back lady" — and honestly, that's one of the things I want to change. I look at the whole horse. How they stand, how they move, how they carry themselves under saddle and on the ground. Sometimes the problem isn't where the symptoms are. A horse that's stiff through the back might actually have a hind limb issue that's causing them to compensate. You don't find that if you're only looking at the back.

Winback® radiofrequency is used in both human and veterinary rehabilitation. It uses a radiofrequency current designed to interact with the body's tissues — supporting healing, reducing pain, and improving overall tissue function. Effective for both superficial and deeper tissue levels, making it particularly useful for tendon and deep injuries.
Horses are good at hiding discomfort. By the time something becomes obvious there's usually been something going on for a while. Things like reluctance to bend one way, being stiff after work, changes in behaviour under saddle, or just not performing the way they used to can all be signs that physio would help.
It's not just for injured horses either. If you compete or do regular schooling, a maintenance session every few months can catch things early and keep your horse in good shape. Veteran horses especially benefit from regular treatment — it's not about fixing a problem at that point, it's about keeping them comfortable and mobile for as long as possible.
Structured rehabilitation after tendon, ligament, or joint injuries — supporting your horse back to soundness safely.
One of the most common reasons horses are referred. Thorough assessment of the whole back, pelvis, and sacroiliac region.
When something isn't right, horses compensate. I find where the imbalances are and work to correct them before they cause bigger problems.
Keeping your competition horse in peak condition. Regular assessments help maintain performance and catch issues early across all disciplines.
Gentle, hands-on therapy to keep older horses comfortable — maintaining mobility, managing arthritis, and improving quality of life as they age.
Your horse isn't lame but something feels off. A full assessment can identify what's going on before it becomes a bigger issue.
All equine visits are mobile — I come to you wherever you are in Cornwall. Travel is included within 12 miles of Rosudgeon.
All equine visits are mobile, based in Rosudgeon (TR20 9PU).
Charges may vary for remote locations. Get in touch and I'll confirm before booking.
If your horse has a diagnosed condition, your vet can fill in a referral form and send it over before the first appointment. For maintenance and performance work, you can get in touch directly and we'll arrange a visit.
At the first visit I'll carry out a full whole-body assessment — watching your horse move in hand, assessing posture and muscle symmetry, and working through the body systematically to build a picture of what's going on. From there I'll talk you through what I've found and put together a plan that suits your horse and your goals.
Full whole-body assessment at every visit — not just the area of concern
Hands-on treatment using manual therapy, massage, and electrotherapy
Winback radiofrequency where clinically appropriate
A tailored rehabilitation or maintenance plan
Clear communication with your vet and trainer where needed
Home exercise and management advice after every session
Whether it's recovery from injury, maintaining performance, or figuring out why something doesn't feel right — get in touch and let's get it sorted.

Equine physiotherapy is hands-on treatment for horses that helps with recovery, performance, and general comfort. I assess how your horse moves, where they're holding tension, and what's going on with their muscles, joints, and posture. Then I use techniques like manual therapy, Winback radiofrequency, electrotherapy, and massage to treat whatever I find.
