What happens during a session?
Part 1: Assessment
Patient information: The first appointment will take a bit longer as I need to get to know you and your pet. I will start off asking about your pet's daily routine, lifestyle, and surroundings before conducting a comprehensive physical evaluation
Gait Analysis: Looking at how the animal moves
Palpation: Muscle palpation and Joint range of motion assessment
Part 2: Treatment
Treatment: Canine Massage Therapy, these hands-on techniques encompass a variety of methods, including massage, joint mobilisations, myofascial release and Advance Stretching. Electrotherapies are also used when needed to aid in the up regulation of the cells
Exercise advice and discussion: This is where we have a discussion on things you can do at home to help your dog. Exercises will be given for you to complete to work on the issues found in the session. This is all sent via a link the day after the session
You spend the majority of the time with your dog so you are the most important person to help them.
