About Kirsten
Fully qualified, registered, and insured Veterinary Physiotherapist
Kirsten focuses on small animal and equine physiotherapy. She believes that an animal’s posture, movement, and manual assessments are key indicators of how functional the body is. By carefully analyzing their behavior, lifestyle, and musculoskeletal health, Kirsten develops customized treatment plans to alleviate discomfort and enhance their quality of life.
Kirsten holds a First Class BSc (Hons) degree in Veterinary Physiotherapy with the Royal College of Agriculture. With training in orthopaedics, neurology, biomechanics, and rehabilitation protocols.
With a strong focus on promoting good posture for optimal movement and function, Kirsten is particularly passionate about post-surgical rehabilitation, as no two animals recover in the same way. By addressing the musculoskeletal system in connection with the overall body, she helps animals build strong foundations to prevent common injuries.
Kirsten also values collaboration with owners, working closely with them to incorporate simple, effective physiotherapy techniques into daily routines. This ensures long-term benefits and improved well-being for their animals.
