About me
Hello, I'm Kirsten – a Veterinary Physiotherapist based in beautiful Cornwall!
I founded Kirsten Smith Vet Physio in August 2023, and I'm proud to be fully qualified, insured, and registered with the National Association of Veterinary Physiotherapy. My focus is on providing top-notch care in canine physiotherapy and massage therapy, though I also work with equine clients too!
My journey began with a BSc (Hons) degree in Veterinary Physiotherapy, which I completed in 2023. Before that, I earned a FdSc degree in Equine Performance from Hartpury College in 2018, along with an Animal Nursing Assistance certificate in 2019.
I'm particularly excited about my new canine rehabilitation clinic—a specialized space dedicated to all things canine physiotherapy and massage therapy. This clinic holds a special place in my heart, as my dad and I built it together!
One of my passions is educating dog owners about aspects of their pet's health they might not be aware of. I love sharing simple yet highly effective tips that can make a big difference in your dog's well-being.
I understand that not every pet owner knows whether physiotherapy (physical rehabilitation and massage) is the right choice for their dog or horse. If you're unsure if I can help with your pet’s current issue, I’d love to chat and learn more about your pup or horse!
Feel free to explore my website, and if you have any questions or would like to discuss your pet's needs, please don't hesitate to send me a message—or even better, give me a call. I’d be delighted to hear from you!
